Pupils from a range of year groups and a wide range of staff, had a very successful day working together to make kites with visiting teachers from Weifang.
This was an entirely new experience for all in Our Lady’s High. Everyone worked in teams and helped each other with the intricacies of the kite making process from building the bamboo frame, cutting, gluing, and pasting, to painting the lovely designs including one with a mix of the Chinese and Scottish Flags.
Truly in the spirit of Curriculum for Excellence, the pupils involved were very successful in their learning and developed confidence as the day progressed with all contributing effectively. This certainly enriched the Learning Experiences at our Confucius Classroom Hub.
