George Smuga, professional adviser at the Curriculum Division at the Scottish Government, introduces 'Building  the Curriculum 3 - a framework for learning and teaching' and discusses its importance as a technical document for curriculum planners.

This presentation was given at a series of regional events organised by the Scottish Government with Learning and Teaching Scotland and the Scottish Qualifications Authority in September 2008 to update the education community on developments in Curriculum for Excellence.
