E-mentoring brings business knowledge to the classroom

As part of the studies for the SQA Internet Basics unit Kinross High School set up an e-mentoring project with local employers Norwich Union. The S2 pupils on the course emailed employees at the company over eight weeks, with questions about the information and communications technology they use. It gave them the opportunity to practice their formal writing skills especially as it was a real-work scenario, learn more about the world of work and gain a greater understanding of the use of technology.
