East Renfrewshire Council rollout continues to progress according to their plan. Initially in 2008/09, 12 mentors used Glow with their own pupils. This progressed in 2009/10 with these mentors rolling out Glow to their own schools. All staff were issued with their Glow accounts in November 2009 to allow access to the national resources and use the online "My Experiences and Outcomes" tool associated with Curriculum for Excellence. 2010/11 then saw this rollout extending to the mentors taking Glow training to their clusters. In addition, each school has been asked to identify their own Glow mentor, a Site Collection Administrator and an Accounts and Services Manager. Training has taken place centrally for those identified staff and will continue to be offered until the end of the session. 2011/12 will see the rollout of e-portfolios to every school in the authority.
