Ocean Youth Trust

The Ocean Youth Trust Scotland provides adventurous outdoor residential for young people aged between 12 and 24, onboard ocean going sailing vessels.

Sail Training provides a unique environment for personal development. The demands of the sea create a challenging environment where teamwork and trust are essential. All activities onboard the vessels are opportunities for achievement and it is through this achievement that young people recognise their potential and benefit from a rise in self confidence and esteem.

OYT Scotland took over 800 young people to sea in 2006 and has developed many partnerships with local authorities and youth groups.
