Abernethy Trust

Abernethy Trust at its four centres in Scotland provides residential outdoor education programmes that often prove to be life changing. Abernethy has strong links with schools and colleges, youth and adult groups, for whom courses are designed to meet their needs and preferences. The outdoor programmes typically include a range of adventure activities and appropriate reviewing to help students learn from experience. Youngsters often respond, even years later, with expressions of it being a once in a lifetime experience. Adventure activities at Abernethy can include canoeing, ropes courses, sailing, skiing and climbing among a range of others, depending on the centre.

The outdoor programme is complemented by the residential experience. We provide warm, comfortable and fully catered accommodation, and carefully trained staff teams committed to offering learning experiences of the highest quality. Evening activities and support for visiting staff complete the Abernethy experience.
