
Looking at how goods and services are produced, the impacts of products and materials across their whole lifecycle and building on people's awareness of social and environmental impacts is one of the four sustainable development priorities in Scotland.
This short 20-minute film from the US is designed to raise awareness of the whole process of production and consumption, and the lifecycle of consumer goods.
Written and narrated by Annie Leonard, the film was produced by Free Range Studios the makers of other socially-minded, web-based films such as 'The Meatrix' and 'Grocery Store Wars'.
