SQA Star Awards

The achievements of the best of Scottish education and training honoured at an SQA Award Ceremony.

The SQA Star Awards ceremony will take place on Friday 30 October 2009 in Edinburgh.

Star awards:

  • recognise candidates who have faced up to their own particular challenges or have put their qualifications to good use.
  • acknowledge centres that have ensured their candidates are not only well supported, but also well-positioned to use the qualifications they have gained.
  • reward excellence by individuals and establishments alike, across all sectors of education and training – schools, colleges, training organisations and businesses.
