The SQA Star Award for Appointee of the Year
Every year SQA relies on the professional service provided by around 15,000 appointees, undertaking a wide range of tasks. This category is open to all SQA appointees – Principal Assessors, markers, verifiers, setters, vetters, invigilators. The award acknowledges appointees who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to SQA over time. Nominations for this award can be submitted by centres, or SQA staff.
Guidelines for writing your submission
The judges will be looking for appointees who:
- have clearly demonstrated outstanding commitment to SQA
- have broadened their knowledge and contributed to their professional development
- have benefited their colleagues, centres or candidates
This list is not exhaustive – if you know of an SQA appointee who deserves credit, tell us about them!
Winners will receive a trophy.
