The SQA Star Award for Academic Excellence

The award aims to recognise outstanding achievement at Higher and Advanced Higher.

This is an award that you can’t nominate candidates for. Instead, SQA will identify the top performers of the year in these qualifications. The judging panel will then contact candidates’ centres directly, and invite them to provide additional support evidence so that the top academic performers can be applauded at the awards ceremony.
