Exhibition

The exhibition area of the Scottish Learning Festival has grown from strength to strength over the years, starting with a small cluster of around 100 stands made up of technology based organisations when it began in 2000.

Moving on 11 years and the exhibition area now fills the largest hall at the SECC, boasting over 200 forward thinking exhibitors from all areas of education including representation from large national organisations to local authority stands showcasing their creative work.

The Scottish Education Village is home to Education Scotland as well as the Scottish Government and SQA. The Scottish Education Village has a range of exciting new interactive features giving delegates the opportunity to talk with staff from across the organisations. 

Along with exhibitors, the hall hosts various presentation areas including the Education Showcase area allowing delegates an opportunity to see firsthand what’s happening in education in Scotland. Demonstrating exciting new and innovative teaching practice, these sessions are hosted by educationalists and young people from throughout Scotland featuring a range of activities that capture the interest of all visitors to SLF.
