LTS has commissioned a range of new content and tools for use in learning and teaching. This seminar will give you an advance preview of the new and exciting resources for:

  • Science for 5 -14 & National Qualifications

  • Gaelic

All of this content  will be made available through Glow.

Speaker biography

Jim Henderson has many years of experience within the Education community. Jim started his teaching career as a secondary teacher of French in Saint Modans High School in Stirling. Prior to joining LTS Jim worked as an Educational Advisor for Clackmannanshire council.  Jim has recently moved from managing the LTS Digital Content Procurement Programme to his current post of Glow External Content Manager.

Dawn Adams has teaching experience at a variety of stages and before joining the Glow team worked at Mearns Primary in East Renfrewshire.
Dawn is inspired by the use of ICT to enhance learning and teaching and had the opportunity to work on a SEED funded project called GridClub from 2002 until 2006. This involved promoting and embedding the use of an educational online learning environment within primary schools across Scotland.
