The Scottish Learning Festival 2007 sees the development of the Learning in Practice area within Hall 2 of the SECC. This area has been designed to complement the conference programme and exhibition, bringing together a local, international and cultural dimension to the Scottish Learning Festival.

Local Authority village

Find out more about the strategies and resources being developed by each local authority to meet the needs of learners across the country.

International village

A number of international teams will be available to discuss an array of projects involving work with countries across the globe.

International lounge

The international dimension of the Scottish Learning Festival has grown each year, and delegates will be able to meet and make links with their international colleagues at the International lounge.

Gaelic

The Gaelic Education Programme aims to provide all Gaelic educationalists with the opportunity to engage with other Gaelic teachers and their examples of good practice.

Health Promoting Schools Unit

The Scottish Health Promoting Schools Unit was established to provide national leadership, coordination and support for all partners to develop health promoting schools throughout Scotland.
