Classrooms of the Future: Taking Learning Outdoors

Willie White, Learning and Teaching Scotland

Currently leading the national development programme Outdoor Connections for Learning and Teaching Scotland sponsored by SEED.  He is seconded from a PE, Sport and Physical Activity Development Officer post with the Quality Improvement team in East Ayrshire Council.  Willie has worked in Outdoor Learning in Scotland in a wide variety of settings, age groups, and contexts for the past 18 years.  A keen sailor, skier and parent.
