The focal point of the Education Village is the Learning and Teaching Zone where hands-on presentations and demonstrations of teaching resources took place. Web-based services for early years, primary, secondary schools and colleges were also showcased.
The programme featured schools from across Scotland who were undoubtedly a big hit with SETT delegates.
Rothesay Primary, Lourdes Secondary and Lenzie Academy all developed their Modern Language skills through video conferencing. Kellands School and Sunnyside Primary School also used video conferencing, but this time to talk with the National Space Centre, as part of their involvement with Ticket to Space and St Andrew’s Primary from Airdrie showcased a new Maths Problem Solving Resource.
Others schools that made a valuable contribution to the Education Village this year were:
Find out what else happened in Learning and Teaching Zone A.
Find out what else happened in Learning and Teaching Zone B.
A BIG thank you again to all the schools that made the Scottish Education Village such a success.
