The Scottish Learning Festival 2009 is the only annual conference and exhibition of its kind and size on the Scottish education calendar. The main theme of this year’s event was 'Curriculum for Excellence : Making the Change'. Underpinning the main theme is Glow, the national education intranet currently being rolled out across Scotland.

Celebrating its 10^th anniversary and bringing together the global education community, this year’s Scottish Learning Festival continued to cover key educational issues and initiatives, contributed to continuing professional development, shared innovative practice for the classroom and showcased new teaching resources.
