The Scottish Learning Festival was launched in 2000 and originally focused on ICT in education. Since then it has evolved and diversified and in 2006 became the all encompassing Scottish Learning Festival.
It is now the pivotal event in the education calendar, inspiring better teaching and learning, and helping to create a confident teaching profession for the 21st century.
In 2009, 7513 people visited over the two days.
