Supporting the development of EAL through participation in Comenius

Our Comenius programme promotes peer collaboration and active learning in highly motivating contexts.

This session will discuss how international education can be embedded into and across the curriculum, delivering the priorities of a Curriculum for Excellence and supporting the development of EAL children.

Ishbel Drysdale has worked in EAL for a number of years.She has promoted inclusion for children new to English and adapted resources and strategies to ensure the young people she works with achieve the best they can. She has led and supported a number of initiatives to raise the attainment of ethnic minorities.
