Seminar Description

Curriculum for Excellence will afford Gaelic Education Practitioners new and innovative approaches to literacy and language learning and teaching.

In this session, LTS Gaidhlig Development Officers will discuss the Literacy and Gaidhlig Curriculum for Excellence experiences and outcomes and will focus on the learning and teaching approaches.

There will also be opportunities to identify and discuss issues facing practitioners such as: how is this similar to my current practice/programme of work? How might I further develop my current practice/programme of work?

What resources and/or CPD might I need? How might I make more effective use of ICT? How might I make links to other curriculum areas and permeating themes? How might I evaluate the extent to which the outcome has been achieved? The format of the session will include a presentation, a practical activity and will conclude with a question/ answer session.
