| Seminar Description | This seminar is a whistle-stop tour of how Scottish educators are using online technology for their professional development in Curriculum for Excellence. It will include a look at how educators are: • reflecting on their needs and sharing strengths using CPDReflect • finding their own CPD using CPDFind • taking part in professional communities and other collegiate activity on Glow • building their own personal development networks (using all of the above and social software such as wikis, blogs and micro-blogs) • using Glow, CPDReflect and other tools to support school and authority improvement planning. Con will argue that the development and sharing challenges posed by CfE will be much better addressed if the Scottish educational workforce is au fait with these tools.
