Seminar Description

'Curriculum for Excellence', 'Personal Support in Schools' and 'Assessment is for Learning' are, of course, different points on the same agenda. The different approaches to developing Positive Relationships are similarly all designed to support the Curriculum for Excellence. So we have Solution Oriented Applications, Restorative Approaches and Framework for Intervention among others all proving effective support in different schools.

The question can be, 'Which different approach should I choose?', or, sometimes, 'How many different approaches can I choose at once?

Each of the different approaches can be described in several ways and overlap in many respects. All promote the growth and wellbeing of the individual teacher and learner within an emotionally mature school.

The seminar will look at some of the ways in which different approaches to promoting Positive Relationships interact and support one another.
