Steve Halkett has worked in Family Centres for over 25 years as a resource worker, family support worker and as a Depute and Head of Centre. Steve has developed several initiatives at a national and Local Authority level and his establishment has recently moved into fantastic new premises designed with the Early Years Framework and collaborative working as integral to service delivery.

Steve has been involved in the BA/Diploma Integrated Working Course at Strathclyde University and James Watt College and is a committed professional to this approach to delivering services. The Centre won COSLA and MJ Awards and a Provosts Award for health and well being and developing these with parents.
