Scottish Social Services Council - Registration Update in Early Education and Childcare

This seminar will look at how the Scottish Social Services Council is supporting a competent confident and valued early years and childcare workforce through the process of registration of early education and childcare workers and managers.

It will explain how to register and how a qualifications based register and post registration training and learning are used to ensure the workforce have the right skills at the right time to support children's care, learning and development and quality service delivery.

There will finally be a brief description of the importance of registration to the manager's role and how the degree in Childhood Practice will ensure managers have an appropriate level of leadership to ensure multi and interagency working is supported within a culture of learning in the early years sector.
