Starting the journey to Curriculum for Excellence - St Margaret's High School

Future plans include:

• further development of cluster improvement planning to address the 3-18 curriculum, for example:
  1. implementation of published Curriculum for Excellence experiences and outcomes
  2. review of key policies including literacy, numeracy, health and wellbeing and assessment
• extending links across the curriculum and across sectors
• school merit award system to be developed to include new North Lanarkshire Council passport and recognition of achievement at S3
• supporting the development of leadership skills at every level
• review of the management structure to reflect new curricular demands, to support a faculty structure, pupil support and skills for life, skills for work opportunities.
