Shared Sharing Practice

Starting the journey to Curriculum for Excellence - St Margaret's High School

The framework for learning is designed to support young people’s progress across the 3-18 transitions by enhancing choice and promoting the personalisation of learning. Skills for life, skills for work options are available for all young people. Personal support and regular curriculum reviews are planned for all, with particular attention paid to young people with additional support needs.

The key focus is on high quality learning and teaching approaches, which provide a sound basis for progression from the S1-S3 phase and to make decisions about in-depth study, qualifications and pathways they will follow through the senior phase of their education in S4-S6. Young people prepare for qualifications in ways best suited to their needs and are provided with personal support through the changes and choices they encounter in S4-S6.
