  1. The staff in this ASG developed their assessment practice through a number of earlier projects. Here, they tried to bring together several key features in a coherent, practical way in the context of Curriculum for Excellence. In what ways have you been able to bring together different uses of assessment when planning learning experiences in light of Curriculum for Excellence outcomes? How will you share them with colleagues?

  2. By looking closely at how they might provide for a specific Curriculum for Excellence outcome, these teachers began to see that that they could also address other outcomes, for example in numeracy, literacy and some other curriculum areas. To what extent have you found that, in planning for one Curriculum for Excellence outcome, others are addressed at the same time? How might you set about assessing and recording pupils’ progress across different outcomes?
