Rosshall Academy

TitleA Christian Chaplaincy Team in a Secondary School
Description

Penilee and Crookston Castle schools combined to become Rosshall Academy in 2002. With the new building in construction and a new headteacher in place, the time was right for the calling together of a meeting of local clergy. The Chaplaincy Team was formalised, with seven local congregations represented - six Churches of Scotland and one Episcopal Church. These included all the chaplains to the associated primaries. In due course a nearby Baptist minister was also asked to join, making eight congregations and 10 clergy.
