Errol Primary School (a rural school between Perth and Dundee) has about 90 pupils. There are four primary classes and a nursery class with five teachers and six support staff.

During the spring term in 2006, the school ran a project to produce a show to perform to the parents and the local community. The context of the show was Errol as a health promoting school. Apart from the nursery class, the whole school including the pupils, teachers, and support staff took part in this project.

Project timetable

The development of the project was over approximately a six-week block. It used the time allocation in the timetable normally set aside for health, PSD and other curricular areas. The show had one morning and one afternoon performance.
