The school will take this project to a new level and make further use of the principles for curriculum design and the experiences and outcomes in collaborative planning and working. Although the first part of this project was planned without the new draft experiences and outcomes, staff are now able to use these as the foundation of future curriculum development.
The headteacher and staff will now draw on their experience from this project to examine the draft experiences and outcomes with a view to forming derived outcomes, that is personalising or 'Kerslandising' the outcomes to address the needs and the context of the school.
The related documents show some examples of the planning structures being developed by staff as a result of the project. Two examples are for short-term planning and two are for long-term planning.
