Albert was born and educated in Bavaria, Germany. He worked in a rehabilitation unit for the deaf in Glasgow before obtaining his Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) at Jordanhill College. He has been working at St Maurice’s High for about 10 years.
Albert introduced the ISAW course around seven years ago: he started by teaching basic internet use and web page design. Since then he has been developing a program that addresses more sophisticated issues, such as web publishing and content management systems. The evolving course covers, and goes beyond, the current SQA’s Internet National Unit specification.
