Introduction

The Kiva Club is a global project providing pupils with the opportunity to sponsor unique small businesses from around the world. Pupils see their investment paid back, enabling them to withdraw their funds or reloan them to a new business.

Local firm Forfar Removals worked in partnership with five partner primary schools (Aberlemno, Langlands, Letham, Strathmore and Whitehills) to launch this project. The project allows the learners in the burgh of Forfar and surrounding rural areas the opportunity to learn from others around the world and gain a sense of their own global citizenship.
