Eastwood High School is a six-year, co-educational, non-denominational secondary school with approximately 1080 pupils located in East Renfrewshire. The following two science projects, looking at the positive impact science has on society, have been run and developed by the staff from the school's Chemistry Department, including Dr David Stirling, the Principal Teacher, and Dr Kirsty Jamieson and Alison McKenna, both chemistry teachers.
