Introduction

East Linton Primary School in East Lothian has a school roll of 160 and a full-time equivalent (FTE) teaching staff of 9.4.

A study showed that the writing skills of Primary 5 boys from East Linton Primary School had been falling away dramatically after P4. The school came up with an enterprising way of making writing fun and interesting by introducing the children to publishing and broadcasting.
