Craigholme High - Note making skills

Introduction

This is a valuable part of the curriculum for S1 and S2 pupils. It arose initially from a recognition by the Head of Geography that pupils lacked certain skills that would enhance their grasp of geography and help them achieve across the curriculum.

It is very much a joint programme devised and delivered by the librarian and geography and modern studies principal teachers. The success of the programme relies on this close professional relationship using the knowledge and skills of all concerned.

Pupils would be introduced to the skill either in geography or modern studies, depending on the rotation, and again have the skill reinforced through either subject.
