French Christmas site with various activities for teachers to download and print. There are many manual activities for teachers to choose, or pupils could browse the site and choose their own activities to print and do in class.

French Christmas site with lots of activities (jokes, songs, stories, games, poems, etc.). There is also an online drawing facility.


Philagora

Website containing animated nursery rhymes (with sounds) in French, English and Italian, poems, activities as well as recipes. All are categorised in themes (including Halloween, Easter and Christmas). Ideal for younger children but may be enjoyed by older ones too.


Tête à Modeler

Website designed for nursery/primary/secondary school pupils in France (age range goes from baby to 15). It's cross-curricular, not only dealing with Christmas in French but also maths, science, geography, etc. Higher and Advanced Higher French students can also use it as there are some interesting facts in the target language.


BBC Languages - information on a French Christmas

This part of the BBC Languages website gives information on what it's like to celebrate Christmas in France. It includes audio pronunciation of 'Joyeux Noël' and 'Bonne Année'.

Website promoting an environmentally conscious Christmas. It contains advice on recycling, reusing materials and saving energy. There are also ideas for gifts and table settings.
