Badges of responsibility

Badges of Responsibility won an award for developing pupils’ self-esteem and was commended for its relevance to Curriculum for Excellence (Dundee Focus on Achievement Awards).

Primary 2 went on to make mugs and keyrings for the Christmas Fair.

Whitfield Primary School’s teachers are using the Connecting the Agendas planning format as a way of creating rich and meaningful experiences for the pupils. They see this as an effective way of decluttering the curriculum and avoiding repetition among subjects that encourage the development of similar skills.
