At this half day event there will be an opportunity to focus on silk painting, with the emphasis on techniques suitable for costume, hat, bag and jewellery applications. You will have the opportunity to try some of the techniques demonstrated and be inspired by a display of finished work.
Caroline Earl regularly works with schools on a range of textile based projects, including staff and pupil skills development. Caroline was the 2006-2007 Angus Textile Artist in Residence and has just completed a short residency at Kilsyth Academy as part of their 'School of Ambition' status, focusing on the Expressive Arts.
