The speaker at this event is Rita R. Jordan, Emeritus Professor in Autism Studies: Autism Centre for Education & Research,The University of Birmingham, UK. In a full programme she will be discussing:

  • What do we know about the nature of autism spectrum disorders? Understanding from biological and psychological research

  • What are effective strategies to support individuals with ASD manage their behaviour, learning and functioning and develop resilience to anxiety?

  • Ensuring quality of life in education and social care throughout the lifespan.
