Grounds for Learning Accredited Trainer Course

This course will look specifically at training delivery skills for working with adults. The techniques & process will be appropriate for work across the sectors and will look at how adults learn, focusing on techniques that address a range of learning styles.  It will also explore the current training courses Grounds for Learning offers to teachers & early years practitioners.

This course is most commonly undertaken by professionals who wish to become formally accredited by Grounds for Learning, although some have taken part simply as an additional professional development opportunity.

Following this initial course, participants have the option to undertake a two-part assessment if they would like to achieve accreditation with us:

  • Written assessment in chosen Baseline sector (school grounds or early years outdoors)

  • Practical assessment - evaluated training course delivery with a group of teachers or early years practitioners

Benefits for you:

  • Income generation - GfL only uses accredited facilitators & trainers to work with our Scottish project schools and to deliver our training courses

  • Participation in a well-structured training event and the opportunity to network with like-minded professionals
