Current programmes

Proud to be Me – Primary programme

This is a sexual health and relationships education programme specially created for primary school children. It was developed in partnership between North Lanarkshire Council, South Lanarkshire Council and NHS Lanarkshire.

Healthy Relationships – Secondary programme

A sex and relationships education programme developed for secondary schools in partnership between North Lanarkshire Council, South Lanarkshire Council and NHS Lanarkshire. The full programme of 8 PDFs are available to be downloaded.

Glasgow's Health - Extract

A health education programme used in Glasgow's schools, which encourages healthy living to pupils from pre-school to secondary school. There are elements for sex and relationships education.

Sexual Health and Relationships Education (SHARE) Extract

A research-based teacher-led sex and relationships education programme. It is aimed at young people aged 12 to 15. PDF examples of SHARE excercises and handouts are available in this section.

Healthy Respect

Healthy Respect is a National Demonstration project funded by the Scottish Executive and hosted by NHS Lothian. The project aims to improve sexual health and relationships of young people under 18-years-old.

Fife Council Programme Exemplars

Find examples of documents which support the delivery of sex and relationships education from nursery to secondary school years. There is a focus on physical, social and emotional health.

Current SRE programmes: Healthy Respect

These programmes were created for delivering sex and relationships education and are aimed at young people up to age 18. They also aim to promote happy and healthy relationships.
