SETT - Learning in Practice - Local Authority village

In keeping with the partnership aspect of the Scottish Learning Festival, LTS is delighted that every local authority in Scotland will be participating in the Local Authority village.

Local authorities have a key role to play in Scottish education and delegates will be able to discuss the strategies and resources developed by each local authority to meet the needs of learners across the country.

Particular focus will fall on key national developments, for example Assessment is for Learning, CPD, Curriculum for Excellence, Determined to Succeed, International Education, Personal Support in Schools and Schools of Ambition, although a number of other resources will be available for delegates to discuss with the local authorities' own officers.
