International village

Delegates visiting the International Village can engage with key organisations including the LTS International Education Department, The British Council, the International Development Education Association of Scotland (IDEAS) and The Scottish European Educational Trust, who will offer practical advice and best practice tips on how to develop successful international activities.

Make sure you set aside some time to visit the International Village to:

  • Learn how to link your school within Europe and further afield through networks.
  • Hear about continuing professional development programmes.
  • Find information on exchanges and work placements abroad.
  • Also see how you can enhance pupils' awareness of other languages and cultures.
  • See how you can work with partner schools in clusters for greater impact.
