This Topic Surgery will explore how we can develop a child’s learner identity through our beliefs about ‘clever children’, the activities we offer and the feedback we give them. Emphasising aspects of current practice including active learning, collaborative learning and Curriculum for Excellence, we will demonstrate how the early years educator can challenge, inspire and keep the star shining.
