Guidance on dealing with homophobic incidents toolkit

Funded by the Scottish Government and managed by Learning and Teaching Scotland, LGBT Youth Scotland has developed a toolkit offering guidance for school staff on challenging homophobic bullying using a whole school approach and covering topics such as policy making, supporting LGBT young people, and working with parents and carers.   Lesson plans and activities, referenced to the topic areas of the Curriculum for Excellence, are also included, to assist teachers to support LGBT young people in school and to explore with young people the impact of homophobic bullying.
