Seminar Description

With current and ongoing innovations in technology Gàidhlig communities can be more connected than ever before.  
“At all levels, my learning in, through and about the expressive arts provides opportunities for me to deepen my understanding of culture in Scotland and the wider world.”  There are many different forms and styles found in Gaelic music, from vocal unaccompanied singing to full instrumental music.  In this seminar there will be an opportunity to see how some practitioners are developing Gaelic music and song in their educational setting in a way which is fitting with 21st century learning and teaching and highlights Gaelic music as traditional yet modern style of music.

This seminar is suitable to all stages of teaching and learning.
