CodeM1D
Seminar DateWednesday 24 September
Start Time15:45

Seminar Description

Curriculum for Excellence promotes learning through interdisciplinary projects and studies, recognising the potential for effective learning and teaching through this aspect. An interdisciplinary approach provides scope for the learner to make connections across curricular areas, transfer knowledge and apply skills in a variety of situations.

This session aims to provide a practical forum for professionals to see and hear about innovative approaches to interdisciplinary studies in Primary Schools across several local authorities. Calling upon the expertise and experience of Primary School staff and pupils, we will explore the successes and challenges of this approach to learning, with exemplification through photographic, written and filmed evidence. Through looking at a variety of projects across different stages, we hope to create opportunity for participants to draw and reflect upon their colleagues’ experiences.
