"The literacy experiences and outcomes are applicable across the curriculum, in all aspects of learning and in all subject areas.

The exact responsibilities and contributions of staff will differ, but all practitioners in each sector, in each department and in all settings have a responsibility to develop, reinforce and extend the skills which are set out in the literacy experiences and outcomes."

This seminar examines how to achieve effective learning and teaching of Science through the medium of Gaidhlig by adopting an innovative and inspiring approach which encompasses the underpinning principles of Curriculum for Excellence.

Practitioners and learners will display how the teaching of science can be closely linked with literacy and how it can successfully be intertwined with permeating themes of the curriculum.

There will be an opportunity to discuss good practice, view resources and consider pupils' work. The seminar is aimed at both Primary Teachers and Science Teachers in Secondary schools.
