Seminar Description

See how Glow Learn and Learning Spaces can be used to support the Science experiences and outcomes through creating Glow Learn activities, with resources and evaluations linked to the outcomes.

The potential of Glow's collaborative environment is explored as an effective method of engaging learners.

This session will offer attendees the chance to think about the learning experiences available for pupils with a focus on the science within the outcomes.

A demonstration of how the combined use of Glow Learn and Learning Spaces can reinforce methodologies such as collaborative learning, sharing criteria and peer and self assessment.

A range of Glow components and uses will be demonstrated to highlight how pupils' preferred learning styles can be catered for and personalised learning enhanced.

Find out more about how collaboration is encouraged and the use of cooperative skills and dialogue is facilitated as Glow is used to support active learning and motivate pupils.

Participants will be encouraged to consider how AiFL strategies can be linked/embedded through the use of Glow and how progress can be assessed.

The ease of sharing knowledge with learners and colleagues is highlighted as an underpinning benefit of using Glow as a tool for learning and teaching.
