Following a 15-month-period decanted within another school, the pupils and staff of Dunning Primary School near Perth were very pleased to be back in their newly extended and refurbished school.

To celebrate their own 'Homecoming', the whole school took part in a rich task interdisciplinary project which culminated in an official opening event in late January 2009.

Dunning Primary School adopted a range of themes and planned rich, challenging and purposeful learning experiences for pupils, to encourage thinking at a Scottish, Dunning and personal level.
