PlaceBook Scotland - learning through a sense of place

PlaceBook Scotland celebrates the relationship between the people of Scotland and places that mean something to them, through film, photographs, music and writing, which can be uploaded online, and shared with others around the world.

Children and young people’s views are important too, and PlaceBook offers exciting opportunities to contribute to learning in many curriculum areas, including technologies and expressive arts, and in interdisciplinary areas such as sustainable development and citizenship.

Find out more about PlaceBook and learning in PlaceBook's schools section, which also features some happy snapping from a nursery school in Lanarkshire, a Scottish writing project from a high school in Edinburgh, and My Place - a project from a central belt school on 'A Place Outdoors that I Like', concentrating on areas of health and wellbeing.
